Our People
At Northants Community Care we place prime importance on employing quality staff that are fit for the job, having the appropriate qualifications, skills, personality, and experience to ensure the health and welfare needs of clients are met. Subject to CRB/DBS checks and satisfactory references all our staff undergo a rigorous training programme with regular appraisals. We also encourage and support staff through NVQ’s in Health and Social Care.
Our workforce come from a diverse background and each new member of staff brings their own life experience and personality to the company, further enhancing the lives of our clients. Positivity and creative thinking is something we try to encourage in all our staff.
Our managers have over 20 years experience in management, recruitment and adult social care within Northamptonshire. All our care and support staff have at least 1 years minimum experience and those who don’t have an NVQ are encouraged to undertake the QCF qualification after 3 months of employment. Other staff have either NVQ 2 or 3 and once employed by us we encourage and support them to pursue further qualifications. All staff are on a continuous training and development programme to ensure they are conversant with legislation, best practice and information to enable them to support our clients to a high standard.
Care and support Staff are employed from the local community, and all have prior experience of working closely with our client groups. All training is monitored by the Registered Manager to ensure personal development plans are achievable and attained.
